What It Means To Be Poor...

One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people can be. 

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. 

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"

"It was great, Dad."

"Did you see how poor people can be?" the father asked.

"Oh Yeah" said the son. "So what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.

The son answered,

1) I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.

2) We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.

3) Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.

4) We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.

5) We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.

6) We buy our food, but they grow theirs.

7) We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."

With this the boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added, "Thanks dad for showing me how poor we are."

Too many times we forget what we have and concentrate on what we don't have. What is one person's worthless object is another's prize possession. It is all based on one's perspective. Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for all the bounty we have, instead of worrying about wanting more.

1st Live Blog Entry From Genting =)

Well just check in room at Genting, now relaxing at Starbucks cafe by my own-self enjoying cup of hot coffee, haven't being sleeping much lately due to my cough which last almost 3 weeks already and the worst part is my awful bad dreams. Since we have been broken up for about 2 months already, kinda miss her at times but seems she changes a lot lately. Try to contact her by sms but seems she ignore my msgs by giving her reason as "busy", and wanted to call her phone but worry that I disturb her for asking to many or don't want to answer my questions. And the sad part is my working part, every time co-workers keep bugging me about my relationship with her, mostly I just kept quiet about it and ask "why??? what happen??" ..zzzz

So as a single lonely man life, this blog is my last spot of happiness cause it reminds me of us working together in customizing this blog , we co-operate so well  =). So I plan to keep on blogging no matter what happen I still want this blog to be active all the time.

Well dear diary, as Chinese New Year has passed I decided to go some adventure to find happiness, by trying new food, watching movie at cinema alone, have some alcoholic beverages, updating my tech by using phone to online everywhere I go. Now my experience of drinking alcoholic is just a sip last time, but now I decided to try it more, so in the end I manage to finish 2 glass and a half during our company dinner CNY party with a mixture of beer, stout and wine recommended by co-workers. It tasted awfull like medicine taste =.= dunno why ppl enjoy this alcoholic drink, unless  they want to get "high". Well the outcome of next day, was horrible head hurts badly and my tum feel like wanna explode, and lucky thanks to "her" advice in sms I didn't take any medicine that night. So my next plan is to try other brand of alcoholic as well just for my fun adventure, from cocktail, different beer or wine, or xo but don't plan to take more then a glass already.

I'll guess I stop blogging here for a while, plan to go around for snapshot of nature outside n inside Genting or maybe shopping =), See ya later.....

Deadly Superstorm Sandy

Just read the news about the superstorm sandy landed on New York City and saw the photos. It was super scary a great city just fall like tat in 1 day due to the deadly storm. All power lights were cut off, explosion, fire, every where were flooded just like 2012 Apocalypse. Just Another Day of Workloads~

Dear Diary,

Since now I got no ppl to share to, or even a simple converstation, so I shall share to "U", last 3 weeks I have applied for several job vacancies at Jobstreet, but haven't got a one reply =(. Truth hurts cause it so hard to get a better job without a degree and after age 30 is way more harder to get. I tried badly to get a degree although I still fail badly, in the end I decided not to waste money and time anymore so decided to work at age 24 I think till now but my income I'm not really satisfied with it. Current job got yearly increment so it's a bit good benefits but working around in this company environment is sucks =.=, almost everyday either being complain at and gossip  or all last minutes work will throw at 'U' to finish it. Then all co-workers here so good in acting they will be good with 'U' when 'U' around, but behind their back they will complaint 'U' none stop. Then mostly co-workers all talk is lies I guess since I can't trust anybody at all =.=, A talk this while B talk that "terbalik" and then C n D talk bad tings about A n B. This goes on and on in this working environment so mostly I just kept quiet n chat with my gf happily avoding the rest. But now can't already so mostly even a simple wish of gud morning or a gud night I can't say or sms to her, cause she sumtimes wont reply back at all. So mostly I just wait and wait cause scare I disturb her..=) so now noting 2 do so I still finding program to edit old photos to upload at here...

B4 I leave, this is interesting quote to keep note:

Good Day my Diary

Need 2 Cure Myself

Dear Diary,

I hurt her feelings and make her mad again 2day.I just cant figure out why I so easy jealous and to overprotective to my dear n only best friend after I saw her post of photos up my heart just drop and I just "snap" again haiz. Mayb because all my bad experience from my past since childhood till now I still can't trust any1 cause worry be hurt again. She say she love me alot last time so need trust her she can handle herself. She told me it was my bad habit n I can't change already especially when I panic meet her frens all of sudden and left her.. =( Since tat day she wont talk to me anymore, I admit I'm not a perfect man. I shall try figure it all out myself and need cure myself up b4 its too late for her n leave me for others. I really do love her , and miss her alot for over 1 month been trying to ask her out just for the 1 weekends or called her but always 'busy" or "noting to say" as her reply. Sumtimes c she go out with frens this month I was jealous again due to her 'busy' reply and don't dare to ask her out already. B4 Halloween day I decided to ask her again just for 3 hours only to take her out but she rejected again and I ask her reason she just reply "can't lo". But the next day she went out with ex-colleges that makes me heart drop alot...then I "blown away" again.

Lesson learned:-
I must learn myself control n believing in people n calm my heart n mind. For now I won't disturb her anymore with my rubbish sms's cause she having exam soon. Love 'U' alots n I try love myself.

PS:- "I'm so sorry I can't control my feelings for U, I shall try hard to trust ppl again such as trusting U" "I will try to cure myself up" "I wont give up on U"

New Updated Outlook

Dear diary, its been so long I haven't update the blog layout, now I decided to do so to update a new fresh start to the blog, with new fresh n lighter color n remove certain widgets. Now I still looking for a program to edit all the pics into one animated flash or gif. Plan to update all the tings we did in the past to recall the happy memories in my diary.

PS:- Still misses her badly after we ended relationship

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY~!!

4 Years have been past although for me is more than 7 years since I meet my dear, there have been ups and downs, happy, sad, angry, cry, laughter, scolding, jealousy and etc. so that's what U call as relationship status. That is noting perfect in the world although ppl hope
for it. But recently I got her cry again due to my jealousy with her frens n due to she
sumtimes she will tell her frens more den 2 me or what she been doing. And I've been waiting
every moment when she no reply my sms at times when she is busy with frens (till next day)
n I don't dare to disturb her at all. Although I've been worrying she go till so late or
till next day, me was abit sad when she reply back my sms n don't dare to tell her me was worried so in the end we war =( . I was the bad guy as usual although deep inside
still loves her very much n worry...hmm guess I won't say anymore at here.

I just hope we can continue on our relationship n grow strong.

Macarons ♥

Lately, I noticed this craze about Macarons. This confectionery has been mushrooming in many outlets in Penang. As a cakes, cookies, chocolates and pastries lover, I MUST DEFINITELY find out what is it that is so special about this Macarons.

According to the Oxford Dictionary, there is no such thing as a macaron. However, the dictionary suggest macaroon which meant 'a light biscuit made with egg white, sugar, and ground almonds or coconut'. The word originated from the late 16th century: from French macaron, from Italian maccarone.

The Wikipedia suggests that a macaron is 'a sweet confectionery made with egg whites, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food coloring. The macaron is commonly filled with buttercream or jam filling sandwiched between two cookies. It is meringue-based: made from a mixture of egg whites, almond flour. The confectionary is characterized by its smooth, domed top, ruffled circumference and flat base. It is mildly moist and easily melts in the mouth. Macarons can be found in a wide variety of flavous that range from the traditional (raspberry,chocolate) to the new (truffle, green matcha tea).'

Here's the interesting part:
'Since the English word macaroon can also refer to the coconut macaroon, many have adopted the French spelling of macaron to distinguish the two items in the English language. However, this has caused confusion over the correct spelling of the cookie/biscuit. Some recipes exclude the use of macaroon to refer to this French confection while others think that they are synonymous.'

Right, that's enough education on Macarons.

Darling and I shared the green one (mint flavour with chocolate filling) as there is only one =)

This lovely box of Macarons was bought from Ritz Cakes & Pastries for RM15.
There are 8 pieces in the box with my favourite being the one and only mint with chocolate. The others are quite nice as well but I couldn't really make out what the flavours were.

I guess the blue one could be blackcurrant with jam filling as it tasted grape-y. The pink one could be strawberry with caramel filling. However, it was just sweet with not much strawberry flavour. The beige/yellow one could perhaps be mango or probably passion fruit. It was really nice with a tinge of sour.

GAHHH...!!! Feeling so nervous worried right now... =(
I dislike this kinda feeling... exam is next week... i am so not ready... =(

In a way, I feel kinda lucky that things are going the way the are... But as usual, I hate myself for doing the last minute...

I know you've been helping me all this while... and I am thankful for that...
I still need plenty of luck and motivation from you so that I can stay strong and pull through this exam...
I hope I will pass all these four papers and that I won't disappoint those who believes in me...
